Before borders and the Americas were created, indigenous communities were able to roam and migrate as they pleased throughout the Americas. To indigenous tribes, the Americas consisted of parts of present day Central America and North America. When the imperial Europeans have forcefully came into these indigenous tribes, taken their land, and have tried to control and even genocide the indigenous communities that existed in the Americas. As indigenous people lost their land, they were forced to leave and find lands where they can reside. Now, they have become illegal immigrants who cannot enter the US as they please.
